Mac machines have gained popularity in recent times due the advanced features being embedded by Apple, with every new release, the latest being Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Mac machines make use of a different type of file system called the Hierarchical File System (HFS). There are two types of hierarchical file system, namely HFS and HFS+.

Macintosh, the first hard disk designed by Apple was supported by HFS file system, which replaced the previously existent MFS file system.

Later, Apple introduced HFS+, an improved version of HFS, which supported much larger files (block addresses are 32-bit length instead of 16-bit) and which used Unicode (instead of Mac OS Roman or any of several other character sets) for naming the items i.e. files and folders.

Loss of data from HFS or HFS+ volumes of a Mac machine is similar to the data loss from a Windows machine. It is only the recovery software, which is different in both the cases. REMO Recover (Mac) Pro Edition software, is a software specially designed to recover Mac files. The software lets you recover Mac files from lost volumes, and also lets you perform an advanced File Search, which is of great help, when the damage is extensive.

Have you emptied the Trash bin on your Mac OS X and lost those important files, photos or documents that you just unintentionally deleted and emptied from your Mac Trash bin?

Looking to recover those emptied Trash bin files from your Mac OS X?

This article will certainly help you in finding the best Mac Data Recovery Software using which those deleted files can be recovered from Mac OS X Trash.

Generally we assume that it is absolutely not possible to recover those deleted files from the emptied Trash bins, but it’s WRONG. Those files can be recovered as long as Mac OS X has not re-used the directory. Most importantly deleted files can be recovered only if you scan your Mac immediately after realizing that you have deleted those important files that you need.

We need to have certain basic knowledge as what exactly happens when we empty the Trash Bin.

When you click on ‘Empty Trash’ the files do not get permanently deleted instead the hard drive’s entries for the files that were in your Mac trash bin gets deleted. The space that the files used to occupy is now free and that space is available for use. The information that comprised your files and data is still there and recoverable until and unless they have not got overwritten by the new files.

The chances of recovery are more if you stop using your Mac immediately as Mac OS X overwrites the little free space very quickly with temp files.

Most excellent and powerful recovery program to Recover Mac files is Disk Doctors Mac Data Recovery Software.

Trial version of this software is available which allows you to scan your Mac for missing files at no cost. If your data is found and recoverable then you can proceed purchasing the full version.
